Known for its distinctive leaf shape, the shepherd's purse is a popular herbal tea in Europe and one of the most well-known wildflowers in many countries. Shepherd's purse is collected in early summer during flowering. Its taste is slightly bitter. 

The dried shepherd's purse is most commonly used to make tea. Pour 2 teaspoons per cup (250 ml) freshly boiled water. Let it sit for 8-10 minutes, depending on your taste.
